Two beautiful tennis player will compete tonight to fight a ticket to the quarterfinal. Caroline Wozniacki claimed to have no pressure when facing Maria Sharapova.
Wozniacki is a player on the rise today. 20-year tennis player won three tournaments in the past month, and became the top seed in New York after Serena Williams was absent due to injury.
Danish tennis player's performance is indeed on the rise. Of the three games he has lakoni at the U.S. Open this year, he only lost three games. No wonder if he can win the Grand Slam dijagokan first in his career, after last year just finished runner up in this tournament.
Sharapova always look forward to its action on the field. Only, since winning the Australian Open in 2008 his playing declined in line with a back injury which so disturbed him.
In this season 23-year-old Russian tennis player was showing signs of rising. At least he has won titles in two tournaments, which is in Memphis (February) and Strasbourg (May).
Sharapova's new this time more successfully penetrate the U.S. Open fourth round since winning in 2006. Last year he was knocked out in first round, losing to Melanie Oudin.
"He was a finalist here last year. So he was familiar with the field and atmosphere," Sharapova said on Wozniacki. "He certainly knew how to play good in this field. It would be interesting."
Meanwhile Wozniacki also has its own preparations to face former world number one player. "He's already won the Grand Slam, I have not. But I do not feel the pressure. You know, my time will come. If not now, ya tomorrow. I'm not afraid at all."
Both players are just never dueled twice and Sharapova always win. But the encounter took place some time in the year 2008, long before Wozniacki continued to rise as it is today, where he was ranked number two worlds. (A2s / krs)
